| ![]() Rear STAN HITCH Benefits from a robust construction, well guarded PTO drive shaft mechanism, secure clamping mechanism powered by the tractor hydraulics and very strong lifting lugs. On operation of the hydraulic clamps, the drive plate extends from its protective nest and firmly engages male drive plate on the STAN HITCH Bracket. The STAN HITCH can be used on the three point linkage on the front of a tractor if fitted. The Rear STAN HITCH requires one hydraulic service point to operate the clamps. The hitch attaches to the three point linkage and connect6ion is made to the PTO using a double universal jointed extendable shaft. The shaft must be telescopic to allow for up and down movement of the hitch. The hitch has legs to prevent the it being lowered too far and thus extending the telescopic drive shaft beyond its extension limit. Decoupling of the telescopic shaft would occur. Also, the PTO shaft must not be operated in its fully raised position as damage to the universal joints will then occur. As each application is different and can not be controlled by the supplier, a degree of common sense must be applied by the operator when operating the STAN HITCH.
